Last week, my son suffered a buckle fracture during karate and now has to wear a splint for a month. We’re going to try to speed up the healing process with vibrational therapy and low-level laser therapy.
In addition to using a vibrational platform, he also uses an electric toothbrush twice a day, and occasionally I’ll have him hold a set of hair clippers for a minute.

A simple laser pointer — like this one you can pick up at any office supply store — does the trick. It has more than enough power to stimulate healing at the cellular level and can penetrate through the splint.
If all goes well, he’ll be out of the splint and back at the dojo in no time!
