Wouldn’t it be nice to go back in time when you lived at home with your parents and had no responsibility? You could sleep in to your heart’s desire and even catch an afternoon nap here and there. You could eat all day long and never go for long periods without food. You could train almost every day, even multiple times a day, and grow like a weed because you were able to recover.
So many guys have told me that they would love to get away for a good month and just concentrate on eating, sleeping, and training like they used to when they were young.
Guess what? That opportunity is here… take advantage of it!
That’s exactly what I’m doing right now. I’m training three times a day using a triple split routine.
Since my last day of work on March 18th, I’ve gained 4 pounds – some of that from hair, but most of it from muscle!
If you have access to some decent training equipment, give triple split training a shot. You’ll likely never have a chance like this again. Put some quality muscle on before the lockdown is lifted.
Sure, you may gain some body fat in the process. Don’t worry about it! As summer approaches, shift to body composition training and strip that layer off. At that point, do 3-4 strength-based workouts and 1-2 interval sessions a week (give this medicine ball circuit a shot once the weather warms up).
